For high school students ready to get ahead
BSB50120 Diploma of BusinessBuild what comes next.
Earn BSB50120 Diploma of Business while you are still at school and build the personal and professional skills that can take years to learn by accident. Strengthen your resilience, judgement, communication, leadership and confidence for university, work or an idea of your own.
Registering your interest starts a conversation. It is not automatic enrolment and no payment is required.
Why now matters
A real head start is not only finishing something early. It is becoming ready sooner.
Beginning now gives you time to practise resilience, emotional intelligence, critical thinking and leadership before university or a workplace expects you to use them under pressure.
Question information, weigh options and explain the reasoning behind a decision.
Present ideas, listen well and adjust your message for the people in the room.
Build digital confidence and learn to use new tools carefully and responsibly.
Plan work, manage priorities and contribute more confidently to teams.
Jobs and Skills Australia reports that generative AI is more likely to change work than simply replace it, increasing the importance of digital literacy, communication, adaptability and critical thinking. See the Jobs and Skills Report 2025 and the National Skills Taxonomy.
Why this course can matter
Build the person behind the qualification.
A Diploma can support future study pathways. The deeper value is the person you practise becoming while you earn it: more self-aware, clearer under pressure and better able to turn an idea into action.
-

A head start in self-belief
Learn how to recover from pressure, speak up and back your thinking with reasons.

-
03
A head start in your options
Build evidence you can take towards further study, employment, leadership or entrepreneurship.
*QCE, selection rank and university credit outcomes depend on the learner, institution, course and current rules. The verified pathway details appear later on this page.
The six-stage visual growth journey
See how you can grow as you complete each pair of units.
Start by learning how to handle pressure and think clearly. Then practise speaking up, organising work, using digital tools and understanding customers and money. Finish by learning the basic rules, risks and resources behind getting work done well.
These are not twelve disconnected subjects. Follow the figure as it grows through six stages. Each pair of units gives you something practical you can use at university, in a workplace or if you one day decide to earn income from an idea of your own.

Communication and influence
Make your ideas easier to understand and act on.
Communication is not about being the loudest person in the room. It is about listening, knowing what matters and presenting a clear case. That skill can help in a job interview, a team, university study or when you are seeking support for an idea.
Designed for how young people learn
Learning that helps you keep going.
The trainer remains at the centre. Digital tools give you more ways to revisit, practise and understand each unit between live sessions. We keep improving how we teach so the learning stays useful, engaging and ready for a changing world.
A smaller college with support that feels personal.
You will not be a name hidden in a large online group. Your trainer will know who you are, notice your progress and help you work through challenges. The people supporting you can feel confident that there is a real person available when you need guidance.
- Direct access to a trainer
- Ongoing feedback and check-ins
- Private mental health and wellbeing check-ins
Mental health and wellbeing check-ins are private educational support conversations, not clinical treatment or emergency care. When a student needs specialist or urgent help, we will follow our support process and help connect them with an appropriate service or responsible adult.
24/7 AI learning agents
Ask for guidance, explanations and encouragement when you are studying. AI agents support the learning process, while your trainer remains responsible for teaching, feedback and assessment decisions.
Full video tutorials
Replay key explanations, catch up and review difficult ideas at a pace that works for you.
Podcast learning by unit
Use audio episodes to keep learning while travelling, exercising or preparing for your next class.
Progress points and learning games
Scoring, progress points and interactive mechanics help reinforce the ideas you need to remember.
Real trainer support
Ask questions, receive feedback and work through challenges with a trainer who knows the qualification and the business context.
Projects connected to your goals
Connect assessment practice to a pathway that matters to you, whether that is university, a job or an idea of your own.
Real students, still at school
Don’t take our word for it.
Take theirs. These are high school students who are already doing it: in the room, on the projects and growing into leaders.

Ricky’s approach is grounded in high expectations, practical context and genuine care for the person doing the learning. His sessions connect the national unit requirements to the decisions business owners and leaders face in the real world.
He asks students to explain their thinking, learn from mistakes and lift the quality of their work. The goal is not simply to complete an assessment. It is to leave with a stronger sense of decision-making, responsibility and what you are capable of becoming.
