The recognised outcome
A skill set is not a full qualification.
After successful completion of every required unit, Australian Institute of Learning may issue a nationally recognised Statement of Attainment listing the units achieved.
The skill set title can describe the grouped outcome, but it must not be represented as a Certificate, Diploma or other AQF qualification.

- Delivery: Confirm current delivery mode, schedule, duration, trainer access and assessment arrangements.
- Cost: Receive all compulsory fees, payment terms, refund information and potential additional costs.
- Assessment: Understand the projects, practical evidence and competency requirements for every unit.
- Credit: Units may support credit into qualifications that include them, subject to evidence and the receiving provider’s rules.

What is a nationally recognised skill set?
A training package skill set is a defined group of nationally recognised units that addresses a specific workplace function or skills need. It is smaller than a full qualification.
What will I receive after successful completion?
After you have been assessed as competent in every unit included in the selected skill set, Australian Institute of Learning may issue a nationally recognised Statement of Attainment listing those units.
Can a skill set give me credit towards a qualification?
Possibly. Units successfully completed may be eligible for credit transfer into a qualification that includes the same units. The receiving provider must verify the evidence and current qualification rules.
Are these skill sets currently available?
Availability, delivery mode, dates, fees and cohort arrangements may change. Contact Australian Institute of Learning to confirm the current offering before making a decision.
Are there entry requirements?
Formal training package entry requirements vary. Australian Institute of Learning also completes a pre enrolment suitability process covering goals, prior experience, language, literacy, numeracy, digital skills and support needs.
Are outcomes such as promotion or business growth guaranteed?
No. The skill sets build nationally recognised competencies, but employment, promotion, income, business performance and other personal outcomes depend on many factors and are not guaranteed.
