In today’s rapidly changing world, adults are grappling with demanding work schedules, while young adults are facing immense pressures, from ATAR scores to navigating an uncertain economy. I recognise these challenges and have made it my mission to tackle them head-on with forward-thinking training practices, creative course designs, and the integration of cutting-edge AI tools to enhance learning experiences.
I have a clear vision of the future, where challenges like climate change, the rise of digital skills, and the need for signature learning ecosystems are front and centre. By fostering partnerships with employers and universities, I’m committed to building a collaborative learning environment that prepares students for what lies ahead.
My passion lies in equipping our learners with the unique skills, emotional intelligence, and technological fluency, including AI, needed to thrive in this evolving landscape. Together, we can shape the future of education and empower our students to respond confidently to the world’s ever-changing demands.

A boy supposedly once asked Michelangelo why he was working so hard chipping away on the block of marble that would become his greatest masterpiece: David. The artist replied, ‘There’s an angel inside this rock and I’m setting him free.’ The power of vision enables you to see a potential masterpiece in what others overlook. This is the core of Ricky’s vision for every student, to release the masterpiece within them.
With an extensive history in building and leading successful businesses of his own, as an educator, Ricky draws on his personal experience. Combining this with proven methods of practical training guarantees all students reach their maximum potential firstly in the classroom, and then in the workplace. Utilizing extensive classroom props, emotional intelligence, and Flip learning allows Ricky to ensure all students are trained in their learning style, ensuring maximum interaction and successful completion.
The AIOL tagline is ‘lives changed, people empowered'. To date, Ricky has changed lives and empowered over a thousand students in leadership and business strategy through accredited learning programs delivered in Australia and overseas.
Ricky believes that education and empowerment go hand-in-hand and he’s certain that only innovative businesses with innovative leaders will survive in the current marketplace.
Not only is Ricky highly educated, but he's also down-to-earth, highly personable, and realistic. He understands that not everyone is given the same opportunities throughout life which may hinder their progress. His compassion for students, who are often embarking on life-changing journeys, is a key factor in helping them reach their true potential.
Lives Changed is an intentional effort to bless those less fortunate, investing in social programs to organizations in India, South African, and Australia. People Empowered is equipping his students with high skill sets and personal values to make a difference in the world we live in. In 2020, Ricky launch XXIVK (24K Gold) Leadership Academy to provide free leadership and empowerment skills to young adults on the Gold Coast.
